To approach the king in a way that is most acceptable TO HIM, who IS the king after all, and He HAS asked us after all to conduct ourselves in holy and modest ways in all things as this affects our souls which He is MOST concerned about. Having made us all after all he knows these things...modestly dressed and with my actions and intentions; and soul and life laid bare for his sharp eyes to see and correct.<br />It is all about elevation of the soul to Hashem.
